Understanding The Home Funeral Option

Caring for our loved ones after they pass and burying them in the local cemetery was a normal custom historically.  Even today its  perfectly legal to care for our loved ones at home after death. It's legal even for a family to obtain a transportation permit bring them to the cemetery and have them buried. Of course you can always hire a funeral home who can provide this service but there are other options such as myself,  or rather a funeral guide to help you navigate what can be done on your terms.  I am also always happy to work with our local funeral directors and have done so in the past as we all want to serve our families in the best way possible and provide the options they need and want.  If you would like to learn more about this topic and the legalities of home funerals go to the Home Funeral Alliance website: https://www.homefuneralalliance.org
